Crack heels
Crack heels are a common foot problem, affecting nearly 20% of adults at some point in their lives, particularly in dry and cold climates. This issue is generally more prevalent in women than in men. So we have to treat the cracked heels with homemade products.
Our feet support our bodies during activities such as running and walking, while also providing stability. However, we often confine them to shoes that don’t offer adequate comfort. As we put pressure on our feet by standing for long periods, they deserve proper care and attention.
Causes for cracked heel
When the foot is exposed to the external environment at the time the skin is dry and you notice that the rim of the heel will become thicker, the thickened skin is called a callus, and as you walk it pushes on that callus, causing the cracked heel.
The cracked heel can be harmless; in that condition, we have to take care of the cracked heel by applying moisturizer to it.
Some natural remedies are very safe and harmless.
Basic routine to take care of your feet
- First, soak your feet in warm water and add Epsom salt, lemon juice, or vinegar for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now scrub it with the help of a cumin stone or callus remover it helps to remove all the dead skin cells.
- After the scrub, wash and wipe it with a cotton towel. Now massage the feet with coconut oil or Vaseline to moisturize your feet; it helps to heal the cracks in your feet.
- These are the basic cares of your foot. If you do this regularly, you will find the difference within a few days.
